About fifteen minutes. A day starts at about fifty questions and settles at a hundred once the spaced review is full — ten new words and ten review words, each introduced, pronounced, quizzed and heard — so the 30 days come to about seven hours, which buys you around 300 of the most-used words. The Council of Europe puts CEFR A1 alone at 80 to 100 guided hours, so 30 days is the foundation of A1 rather than fluency, and we would rather say so.
The Kids Zone is for children aged 4 to 12. When you set up a child you choose an age band — 4–6, 7–9 or 10–12 — and in Parent Settings you can set an optional daily time limit. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.
