Start with a complete course
KindLearn is a free language learning app for complete beginners and for kids. 13 languages have a finished written course — 30 days, 10 new words a day, with speaking practice and spaced review, so earlier days keep coming back at widening intervals.
Thirty days is about 7 hours of study. That is the foundation of CEFR A1, not fluency — enough to greet someone, order food, ask directions and handle simple everyday exchanges. We would rather tell you that up front than promise you a language in a month.

Common questions
What people ask before they start. Short answers, no small print.
Is KindLearn free?
Yes. The courses, lessons and practice tools are free — no subscription, no paywall and no ads. AI conversation practice is free for 60 messages a day when you are signed in. KindLearn is built by KCF LLC (Kindness Community Foundation) and funded by our commercial products.
What languages can I learn on KindLearn?
Thirteen: Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Dutch and Polish. Each one has a complete 30-day course: 10 new words a day, around 300 words in total.
How does the 30-day challenge work?
Each day is one short lesson of about 15 minutes: 10 new words introduced with their meaning, then multiple choice, typing, listening and pronunciation practice on them, plus a review block of words from earlier days. Finishing a day records what you met and schedules those words to come back.
What will I actually be able to do after 30 days?
Around 300 words and phrases for everyday situations — enough to greet someone, order food, ask directions and handle simple everyday exchanges. That is the foundation of CEFR A1 — a real starting point, not conversational fluency.
Is there a limit on AI conversation practice?
Yes. It is free for 60 messages a day when you are signed in, and 5 a day without an account.
How long does each day take?
About 15 minutes. Across all 30 days that adds up to about 7 hours of study.
Is KindLearn good for kids?
Yes. The Kids Zone is for ages 4–12 and covers all 13 languages, 30 days each — 2,340 words in total — with word cards read aloud and quizzes, including a listening quiz. A grown-up can set a daily time limit in parent settings.
Do I need to install an app?
No. KindLearn runs in any modern browser, and can be installed to a phone or tablet home screen as a Progressive Web App. There is no separate App Store or Play Store download.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your streak count starts again, and that is all. Your lessons, words and XP stay, and the next lesson picks up where you left off. The written lessons have no daily minute limit, and nothing is locked behind a subscription.
